Alerts and Fatigue
Alerts draw attention to schedule conflicts and workload patterns that deserve review.
Active alerts
Open Alerts to see current critical and warning items. Select an alert to jump to the relevant schedule context.
Acknowledging alerts
Acknowledging an alert moves it out of the active list after you have reviewed it. It does not change any calendar event. Expand acknowledged alerts and select Restore if you want one returned to the active list.
Fatigue calculations
Timed events from work sources can contribute to workload and fatigue calculations. All-day events are normally excluded. You can also exclude an individual event when it should remain visible but should not count as work.
Important limitation
Pivot Shift’s alerts are planning aids. They are not medical advice, a fitness-for-work decision, or a replacement for your employer’s fatigue, rostering, or escalation policies.
If an alert looks wrong, check the event’s source category, date, time, overnight handling, and Include in fatigue calculations setting.
