Invitations and Referrals
Every admitted Pivot Shift user has a private referral link. Open Settings → Invite colleagues or select Invite colleagues from your account menu.
Share your referral link
Select Copy to copy the link, Share to open your device’s sharing options, or QR code to display and download a scannable PNG. Anyone who creates an account through that link is attributed to you.
Referral links do not reveal your name, email address, or Clerk user ID. They do not expire automatically, but Pivot Shift can disable a link if it is misused.
Invite by email
Enter your colleague’s email address and select Send invitation. Clerk sends the account invitation and Pivot Shift records its delivery and acceptance.
Each user can send ten invitation emails during a rolling 30-day period. This reduces unwanted or automated email. You can continue sharing your referral link after the email allowance is used.
Beta capacity
Invitations and referral links use the same public-beta capacity as ordinary signup. They do not reserve a place or bypass the account limit. If the beta is full or paused, the invited person is placed on the waitlist automatically.
Referral activity
The invitation screen shows aggregate totals for joined, active, and waitlisted referrals. It does not identify which individual invitation was accepted.
Recent email invitations remain visible as delivery history because you supplied those addresses, but their individual acceptance status stays private. No referral reward is currently promised. Paid-conversion tracking remains private and is recorded administratively so Pivot Shift can support a reward programme later without losing earlier attribution.
